Welcome to Heron Bluff

Our Story

Nestled in the heart of Washington Wine Country, winemakers Eric and Leslie Hoppe have been making delicious wines for many years.

Our family-run vineyard and winery is a testament to passion, tradition, and quality. Established in 2015, we began our journey with a vision to craft exceptional wines rooted in the land’s natural beauty.

We invite you to visit our vineyard, enjoy a tasting, and experience the warmth and charm of our small, family-run operation.

Our Land

Great Blue Herons return each spring to the rookery located in a riparian zone within our vineyard near our tasting room.

Surrounded by massive basalt bluffs to the north and overlooking the Yakima River to the south, come enjoy our wines at the memorable Heron Bluff Winery.

Our Wines

We specialize in rich red, estate grown wines. We have a number of Rhone / Rotie Valley varietals, Italian varietals, and Bordeaux varietals. Our estate produced artisan wines are made using sustainable vineyard practices. See a full list of our current available wines, here.
