Welcome to Heron Bluff

Our Story

Winemakers Eric and Leslie Hoppe have been making delicious wines for years.

In 2015 they decided to turn their talents into a local, family-run vineyard and winery just outside of Benton City, Washington.

Our Land

Great Blue Herons return each spring to the rookery located in a riparian zone within our vineyard near our tasting room.

Surrounded by massive basalt bluffs to the north and overlooking the Yakima River to the south, come enjoy our wines at the memorable Heron Bluff Winery.

Our Wines

We specialize in rich red, estate grown wines. We have a number of Rhone / Rotie Valley varietals, Italian varietals, and Bordeaux varietals. Our estate produced artisan wines are made using sustainable vineyard practices.
